Information about Japan

Although I introduced Tokyo, I will change the topic from Tokyo to Japan.

There are about 10 districts in Japan, Hokkaido, Tohoku, Kanto, Kinki, Chubu, Tokai, Chugoku , Shikoku, Kyushu, Okinawa..

I will introduce each area in several posts.

First, the top of Japan, about Hokkaido.
Its weather is pretty cold in winter with a lot of snowfall, below zero temperatures, while in summer it does not get as hot and humid as in the other areas.
It is well known as the area for winter sports , such as skiing, snowboarding and so on.
If you want to play winter sports, I suggest you visit Niseko, which is the most famous ski resort in Japan.




Hokkaido is also well known as the place where you can eat something delicious, especially seafood.
I recommend you visit a fish market and order a rice bowl in the early morning.
You can get some toppings of fish you  really really like a lot.



It is famous for Jingisukan, which contains mutton and vegetables on a dome.

 

There are a lot of cities which you might enjoy in Hokkaido, for example, Furano, where you can see beautiful lavender and flowers and also you can see animals in the zoo at Asahikawa .

Actually, I have never been there:(... but I heard a lot of good points about Hokkaido from someone who has been there.
It is one of places I want to visit the most in Japan.

Tokyo Information Part 2

Today I will introduce more information about Tokyo.

If you want to know the history of Tokyo, you should visit Edo-Tokyo museum.
This museum is housed in an unique looking building located in the Ryougoku district.
You can experience and learn about various aspects of Tokyo, such as the ways to live, architecture and cultural goods and so on.






If it is ok for you to go out a little in distance from Tokyo, I would like you to visit Kamakura, which is in Kanagawa prefecture.
You can enjoy eating, shopping and sightseeing there.
It looks like a little Kyoto.
You can try to drink Japanese old style tea, and also eat sushi.

Today, I will introduce my home city Tokyo.

Have you  ever been to Tokyo?

I think there are a lot of exciting things in Tokyo.
Then, I will introduce two things I pick up.

One is  that Japanese style of food,
You know one Japanese style is sushi.
If you want to try it, I recommend Tsukiji, which is a market and you can eat fresh fish.
You can also watch that the fisherman is fighting to buy fish.

And if you visit Tsukiji,I would like you try Monja.
Do you know Okonomiyaki?
Monja is similar to it. It is so delicious.
You can try it at Tsukisima station near Tsukiji.



Second is Sky tree , which is the tallest tower in the world.
There is not only the view ,but also various kinds of stores, restaurants , souvenirs and so on.
And I recommend you get on ships in the river of Sumidagawa.
You can get look at several places at one time , also get to another place.




There are many other things  you had better visit.

Hi everyone

This is my second post.

Today I will introduce the one of countries I visited before, it is Hungary.
I hope everyone can use it as reference.

I think that there are two good points about Hungary.

One is that the price of commodities is cheap.

The other is that it is the greatest place to enjoy good landscapes at night.
There are several bridges connecting  Buda and Pest, which are lighted up at night.
It is so beautiful.

I love Hungary.

 If you visit  Hungary, you had better go to the wine bar at Hilton hotel.
It costs 10dollars, You can try to drink 5 different Hungarian wines ,and select the favorite one of yours which you try.

I arrived in Toronto on 25th May 2013.

Everything is exciting for me, because I wanted to study abroad for a long time.

In March this year I graduated from university in Tokyo.
And  I was told that I will start my job from September this year.
Therefore I finally decided to study abroad until September.

In Toronto,I stay with a homestay family  and another student who is from Korea.. 

I have no idea where I had better visit in Canada.
Please tell me where I had better go.
